Walking through old temples I always feel melancholy. I'm very sensitive person, with a strong bond to the past, so places like that with old the fading glory impact me greatly.
In Egypt... in Egypt Past hits you like a hammer.

Man fears time, but time fears the pyramids.
In Egypt you realize how fragile you are. And then you look up and think: OMG, people created this. People without computers and mechanical tools. Just by hand. Wow.
In Egypt you realize how much potential lies in humanity. And maybe you feel a little disappointed how much of this potential is wasted.

Hello Monday, why are you here again?
Time flies fast and suddenly the autumn is almost over. And we are preparing for next trip in December.
We had a lot of ideas, even argued a bit, but then one gloomy morning I had an email from Booking with 'Great prices in Florence'. The prices weren't that good, but Florence it is :D
We'll gonna see if you can catch Stendhal Syndrome in Florence in December.

Potsdam gardens. I loved it. It has to be incredible during the spring.
And it's a great inspiration for our trip next week. We're going to Italy. But I can tell you, it's really stressful.
There is another wave of covid19 in Europe and situation changes fast. One day a country is opened, next day it's closed or you have to do tests on every corner. (Thanks goddess we didn't planned Madeira after all!).
We're vaccinated. We're checking statistics and news. We can still cancel our reservations for next few days.
I won't lie. It's hard decision. And I'm a little scared. I still don't know if we are fools looking for troubles or just trying to be reasonable and don't give up to covid.
But I need it. I need Italy in December. Old streets, food, lights. It's like addiction.

Winter in Szczecin! I saw snow already!
And we are in the middle of pre-traveling chaos.
Disasters at work, travel papers mess, we don't have euro and clean clothes. I've already canceled my hair-dresser and phisio. And... thought about christmas presents makes me scream in panic O.o.
So - regular December trip mood. I hate it. And I love it!
